There are parakeets roaming free in Barcelona! As you can see in these pictures, parakeets are chilling with pigeons and eating grain that was left on the ground for them!

These birds are called Monk Parakeets. They are a special type of parrot. Many of them had tags around their necks because scientists are studying them.
