Spring has (almost) arrived in Paris.
Midweek last week, the first week of March, there was hail and the memory of the “beast from the east” was still fresh in our minds.
However, by the end of the week, the violets, crocuses and daffodils were blooming in the parks. The weather had warmed slightly and Parisians were starting to shed their scarves.
However, there are still no buds or leaves on the trees. A few really warm days though, and they will burst into buds and blooms.
Parisians tell me that March/April have a lot of showers (rain). We’ll see. For now, I am enjoying the warmer weather and the sunshine!
