As you may know, in France the school schedule is approximately 6-7 weeks of school then 2 weeks vacation — then repeat. Over the school year therefore students have four 2-week breaks. School vacations are called “vacances scolaire”.
Sounds good doesn’t it?
Well, as long as you don’t overschedule, which I think we did. In the previous two week break we went to Barcelona and California.
The Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
Arriving in California

In between the school breaks we scheduled a long weekend. We just got back from Lisbon.

And we are going on two 1-week trips for the Easter break. We are headed to Bretagne and Florida.

Then after the Easter break we have a trip planned for Normandy.
And in the summer we already have two trips planned in Europe. We are going to Italy and Greece.
And of course we are also spending the summer in the US and Canada. In the US we are headed to California, Maine, and upstate New York. In Canada to Toronto.
Not that I am complaining but perhaps humblebragging?
