Actually, I just call it Parc St. Cloud, but Domaine National de Saint-Cloud is the official name. This is a huge park just outside Paris. Though saying it is just outside Paris makes it seem far away. It isn’t really, but it does have the feeling of being far away.
I go there roughly 2-3 times a week now. I first found it because it is next to where fille rows. It isn’t very well known and certainly not very touristy. I have hundreds of photos and a lot to say about the park so you’ll see some more posts in the future. However to start with this will give you a quick overview of the park and perhaps (if you are in Paris) a desire to visit it.
What does the park have to offer?
- Manicured gardens with beautiful flowers
- Wild forested areas
- Classic french topiaries
- Beautiful vistas overlooking Paris
- Wide open green spaces
- Dozens of fountains
- Ponds
- And even a few animals

Wide open spaces (which otherwise are rare in Paris)
There are even a couple of small ponds
And here are the sheep and goats. I didn’t manage a picture of the deer that ran by one day and didn’t take a picture of the horses.
