We’re back in Paris! Woohoo! And, after settling in, we figured it was time for some sightseeing and exploring. We found a famous chocolate shop, the Bastille, and a plant market!
By the time we finished all that, it was lunch time. Luckily we had stumbled upon a beautiful cafe, Cafe Des Anges, while walking around the 11th arrondissement. It’s very near the Bastille. We decided to eat there. It was fantastic!
What to eat-
Salade Bobo- The Salade Bobo is DELICIOUS! It is a salad with quinoa, salmon, avocado, chopped peanuts, tomatoes, greens, and cucumbers. They don’t skimp on any of the good stuff.

There is another salad that is equally delicious but unfortunately we can’t find the name. It has falafels (AMAZING), some beautiful eggplant slices, halloumi cheese, radishes, red cabbage, and yogurt sauce, all on a bed of greens.

The portions are VERY large so come when your hungry, or split with a friend if you aren’t. There are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. It is not a touristy place but if you don’t speak French its ok, most of the waiters and waitresses speak English and they offer English menus. The seating, if a little bit cramped, is quite nice, inside or out. They make everything in house and serve bread from a local boulanger with your meal.
If you’re in the 11th, or really even in Paris, stopping by Cafe Des Anges is a must!
