Mothais sur feuille is a goat cheese that sits on a feuille (leaf). It is soft and runny. The cheesemonger has asked if we wanted a crémeux (creamy) cheese and I said yes. This one fulfilled the order! It was seeping out of it’s rind when we got it!
As with all of the chèvre (goat) cheeses from our local cheesemonger, this cheese was made with lait cru (raw milk).
We ate this cheese with a fresh baguette and a light salad.
